Automatic Girth Welding Machine.

Single sided or double sided machines available. These machine are used in the fabrication of oil storage tanks welding with the submerged arc welding process in the 3 O' Clock position. The machine comprises of an operator carriage with a Lincoln NA3 Submerged Arc Welding Head, Flux delivery and recovery and carriage movement control. A seperate DC 655 power source provides the power to the head, control box and carriage movement. We have a trained demonstrator who can assist on site to set up the machine. Machine suitable for :- Plate heights 1500mm to 3050mm Pate thicknesses of 6mm to 45mm Tank diameters of 5 metres upwards.
